This movie is easliy the best Xmen outting we've had yet!
The movie starts off with the clip from the 1st xmen movie with Magneto being taken into a concentration camp with his parents and refusing to be seperated uses his powers to tear down the gates and fences!
It then cuts to Xavier who as a child meets Mystique in his kitchen who is after food, she then becomes his adopted sister!
Later in life Xavier becomes a professor in Genetics and Eric (Magneto) is hunting down the man who caused his mother's death!
Xavier helps the government hunt down a mutant who is causing the russians to start a nuclear war with America. This is where Xavier and Eric meet and become allies.
From here they build a team of mutants and must fight the mutants threatening to cause a nuclear war!
This film was just amazing, they find a perfect way to keep it in flow with all the other movies.
There's quite a lot of violence with Magneto going into a bar and killing 3 men and then having soldiers wrapped up in Barbed Wire.
They had a relatively unknown cast which was a great idea as it sorta made you wonder which mutant they were supposed be and how they would show these abilities.
Its hard to comment on this movie without giving too much away as the movie did not stop giving! Michael Fassbender (Eden Lake) was the perfect choice to play Magneto, he was ruthless and angry. It came across perfectly, you almost think i'd do what he was doing if that were me lol.
James McAvoy played Charles Xavier, this is when he was young and before he needed his wheelchair! Charles' intentions are purely noble and he plans on training mutants to blend in and to control their powers so they can feel safe in the outside world, but Magneto starts to corrupt these mutants and decides he wants to be the leader of the new dominant race!
The graphics in this movie were amazing, from an anchor being laucnhed around a ship, to 200 missles being slung back and forth i couldn't take my eyes off of it.
Hugh Jackman makes a brief appearence where Eric and Charles are searching for mutants, they ask him for a chat and he says, 'Fuck Off'!
Its a bit of a shit review but i had to write it on a quick break at work.
I definitely think that anyone who liked any of the other Xmen movies should watch this, i can't wait til it comes out, i shall be buying it on Blu-Ray!
