Sorry for the delay lads lots of stuff going on at home so figured i'd do this on my lunch break!
I have to say Homefront is a nice change of pace from CoD (despite pretty much being the same game!)
To be entirely honest i could harp on all day about the Campaign but thats not what most of you give a flying fuck about!
Quickly though, Campaign is about America getting invaded by the Koreans, Your one of a few platoons left to counter act the attack!
(Kinda like a look into the future when all the waves of Chinese Genecide destroy the earth and we descend into Fallout and wind up eating pigeons for the rest of our lives! Or as Rob calls it Saturday!)
Online however is a nice change from CoD, great guns, lots of variation with attachments and scenary!
Love the maps, graphics arent perfect as there only 720p (guessing this game was enitially desgined for Xbox users.
But overall you could sit down at 3pm the play this before you know it, its 7pm and your missus wants you off the ps3!
My biggest problem with Homefront is the whole tanks online thing, its didn't work in World at War (unless you were the fucker in the goddamn tank)! I think vehicles online ruin the experience as its a pain to have to keep attaching the Explosive class you dont like and havent set up properly to destroy the fuckers and when you finally do your left gunless as the tank took up all your bloody bullets!
However i did enjoy the online, due to the scenary its very team based, I even found myself saying stupid things like bogie 11oclock and on your six!
The guns were cool, the Assault Rifles were by far my Fave, Especially the M4A1 Carbine!
Snipers would love this game, its not as fast as Mw2 but about the same as CoD4!
Usually i try not to compare games to CoD but Homefront is like the little brother of CoD fed up of never getting any attention!
Great break from CoD but not a complete focus stealer!
Campaign: 7/10
Graphics: 7/10
Online: 7/10
Overall: 7/10
