ConsoleGaming has teamed up with dBGamez to offer the winners of our Modern Warfare 2 Launch Tournament a fantastic prize; the winning team will receive £400 GBP courtesy of dBGamez.

The Tournament will take place in a ‘World Cup’ style format, with an initial group stage of four, of which each team will play the others once and from that, two teams will progress from each group to the final straight knockout stages.

Start dates for the moment are purely provisional and a full ruleset will be announced prior to the start of the tournament.

Prizes:

The Winning Team will receive £400 GBP courtesy of tournament sponsors dBGamez.
The Winner will receive 350XP and a winner’s signature made by the graphics team.
The Winner will also receive the ladder crown.
Guaranteed spot in the upcoming CG MW2 Premier League.*

The Runner-Up will receive 175XP and a runner-up signature made by the graphics team.
The Runner-Up will also receive 10,000 dBGamez reward points.
Guaranteed spot in the upcoming CG MW2 Premier League.*

The Third Placed team will receive 100XP and a Third Place signature made by the graphics team.
Guaranteed spot in the upcoming CG MW2 Premier League.*

* MW2 League tba.

Please note, that because the tournament begins with an initial group stage as previously mentioned, you will instead find the sign-ups under the League and not the Tournament Menu. There are currently 128 spots available, although upon increased demand this may be extended. As of now, you are free to sign your team up.
