Spawning (angry face)

Hi guys, karriu here. I just felt like posting something on here after i recently bought bad company 2 and noticed a massive difference online to CoD. The spawn system. It might be just me but i cannot count the number of times i have been spawn trapped, spawned next to the enemy or on a semtex in CoD! In BC2 you can spawn on a squad member or at the spawn point which cannot be attacked by the enemy. Infinity Ward need a major look at the spawn system on CoD because i think its turning a lot of people away and back to who i belive are the true masters of online games, Battlefield. If you disagree or agree please reply because i think its a big issue. Thanks

One game when i played BFBC2 i got spawn trapped but yeah spawn system better on BF

Ridge and Bujj are right, never when at least 4 of us have been have we ever been beaten in kills in a public match (sometimes even clan matches)


I've played about 2 hours worth of online on BFBC2, its good but the tanks fuck it up, EA should stick to what they've always done, sports games!

CoD has set a huge bar for any war game to reach and unless it MW3 i don't think anyone else can do it!


BFBC2's tanks arent like W@W's, these take stupid amounts of damage and people take them to the furthest edge of the map and repair them, it does my head, and thats the main reason i'm sticking to CoD, but your right the way you can have a random spawn or spawn on a teammate is good, but it wouldn't work for game modes like Domination,


everyone would be spawning right next to your flags and and spawning on top of their allies who are camping on your flags, i get your point but i think MW2's spawn system works perfectly for the fast paced game it is, BFBC2 is much slower!

The spawns are a bit predicable but as Psycho said I don’t think we have ever been spawned trapped in that public game or if we had it lasted about 20 seconds as someone was already tacking the flag at the other end of the map to get people out it

Yup shotguns ftw. Especially the SPAS with FMJ and stopping power

i love the grip, i like to jump and zoom in as i shoot, really helps me get some awesome kills, but i always ADS when using the shotty! More Accurate

See when you do that with the spas Jake does it reload properly for the next shot? mine doesn’t pump and when i go to shoot it doesn’t fire cos there isn’t a shell in it? Or is it just me?

i release just as i fire and that when it releases the old shell and then by the time its sitting straight again i can fire!

yeah i do them same mine must be faulty, i'll have to send it back

lol try using Sleight of Hand, reloads shells faster, pumps faster and if you have it pro it aims faster too, great if you use your shotgun quite often, i often use it for HQ

thats what i use, must be doing something wrong. I've started to use the machine pistol now as it annoyed me so much

i keep changing guns all the time, from M4A1 to M16, to the TAR-21 and now the ACR

but ive never changed my shotgun, strange that

im a twat for changing guns, when ever i unlock something ill give it a go..

but i always have my back up classes

SPAS-12 FTW!!!

i seem to only use the Assault Rifles, i like the UMP but i'm not a fan of the Sub Machine Guns in this game

only Assualt RIfles i haven't tried are S2000 and FAL, all over i have some form of camo and attachments

yeah i agree mate ARs in this game are seriously OP

in cod4 i was Sub and sniper only

UMP is good and so is the mp5 (occasionaly)

FAL is great fun to use, recommend giving it a try mate, F2000 is apalling in my opinion

im currently back to the ACR but i find the TAR-21 to be my fave overall


i used to love the subs on cod4, ak-74u in particular!!!!

Mp5 in the last one was my fav, blue tiger and a silencer it was sexy

ACR is my fav AR in this one it’s not the most powerful but it’s so accurate I use it as my sniper rifle and the ump45 silenced is hard to beat as well for the smaller maps.

Actually think the stinger is my favourite secondary weapon as if you can shoot down the air support before it gets a kill it really pisses people off

for the bigger maps I pull out the m16 and famas. Sexy as fuck. Brraat!!
