Me and Ridge both use Adobe Photoshop, you can get a 30 day trial from www.adobe.com I'm sure you can work your way around cracking it or finding a key gen from somewhere LOL. Sam.

| I have tried something like that, its actually pretty easy, you need a tripod tho, and use a long shutter speed, something like 4 secs, and then focus on some lights and take the shot, while its taking it, twist the zoom ring, so you zoom in or out, I'll post up a shot i did while I was away at my cousins. EDIT: This was my attempt at zoom bursts, I mounted my camera on my tripod, sorted out the settings, focused on the lights of my cousins Christmas tree and used a wireless remote to take the shot. I use the Manual Mode (M) for all my photography, These were my settings: 4 Second Shutter Speed, F.3.5 (Aperture), ISO was 200, and my Focal Length started and finished at 18mm. Hope that helps and if you have any questions, ask Sam. | |

| Ok i understand now... not sure if i'll ever use this technique. Might be better in the dark though. I need a tripod now... There are some amazing christmas lights in the centre of town that I want to capture but i dont have a tripod. I'm going to see what I can do with out... | |

| Its good for abstract photography. I rarely use this, I'm currently using a 4 Second exposure for my new photography project based on horror, it captures enough light and also allows a decent blur of an object or person.
Tripods are pretty cheap, you can get a pretty decent one from Jessops for about £10-£20, definately worth the purchase !

| Cheapest tripod was £45 so I'm going to look around. I'll have to prop the camera on something tonight so Incan capture the lights. | |

| The rules for photographing wildlife and animals aren't that different to photographing people. The mistake many amateur photographers make is to aim their camera's focal point directly at the animals body. Professional wildlife photographers however, set their focus on the animals eyes. If the eyes are not in focus then the whole image will lose its impact.
Never knew this. Was just poking around the web and found a good website for beginners

| Always focus on the eyes, regardless of the animal or person your photographing.
Dibs, post up the link that you got that info from.

| Awesome ! I dont read books lol, I prefer to just experiment with the settings, I was giving Dibbers this advice the other day.
The best way I learnt how to take photos was buy taking shots in the Full Auto Mode (Green Box), and then looking at the settings the camera used to take it and then use Manual (M) and put the same settings in to see what you can get.
