Right im looking for a wire to connect my laptop to my tv so i can watch the footy on it instead of my laptop screen.


My laptop isnt HD just a standard laptop, i have a rough idea of what im after but thought someone on here could give me a link on play.com or amazing just to make sure i buy the right one.

Hey mate

my laptop has an HDMI output but my old laptop I used a VGA output which looks like this:

Looking for a wire1 300px-SVGA_port

if you have this then you can buy this cable:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fisual-2m-Pearl-VGA-Cable/dp/B000WTT0EG/ref=sr_1_11?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1343483591&sr=1-11

or any variation on it. Just make sure your TV also has a VGA input. Otherwise you can get "VGA to RCA" or maybe a VGA to HDMI converter but these can be pricey.
