Subject: The Walking Dead Tue 19 Jul - 2:02
Finally got around to watching this after hearing some awesome reviews! Its basically a 6 episode mini series that has been renewed for a second season due to its popularity.
Dont wanna spoil it for anybody wanting to watch it but it basically follows the story of deputy sheriff rick grimes and other characters trying to survive a zombie apocolypse where the dead are walking again. In the pilot episode rick grimes wakes up from a coma to find his town over run by walkers (zombies) and sets out to find his wife and son who he believes to still be alive. The storyline and the characters are amazing throughout and it has you hooked straight away, would definately recommend this to anybody - zombie fans or not.
Ive heard the series is based on a graphic novel and follows the story to that very closely! The 2nd season is set for release october 2011.

It is based on a comic, I seen this when it was first on TV and recorded it to watch again as it’s a quaility show as veg said its about zombies but thats just a small point its more to do with how the people are rebuilding there lives, it’s a pity it was only 6 episodes.

the second season trailer aired last night i cant wait till the new season to be honest with the high production cost to get the quality of the show 6 episodes is more than enough

when i watch it i can feel the tension created even though you dont always see a lot of zombies, it will have you hooked from the start jake

For when it airs in the states theres this great site i use to watch all the tv shows, there uploaded the same day they air.
I usually use it for 'How i Met Your Mother' & my missus for 90210 but it has the walking dead.
Saves waiting for the UK TV release 6 months later.

Just caught the first episode on Project Free. Was pretty damn good, its the sorta show that makes you think if you were in that situation what would you do, but as JT, Bujj, Sam and Wowza know i've been plotting my Zombie Apocalypse Survival Routine for years! or Z.A.S.R if your in a hurry!
I reckon if you like this then you'll enjoy Dead Set
same sorta show about survival but the survivalists get stuck in the big brother house as the zombie outbreaks occurs on eviction night. Nothing really to do with Big Brother so don't let that put you off, i hate BB!
