DC Universe Online!

So far this game has me hooked!

There is so much in the ways of Character Design, Weapons, Powers, Mentors, Style of Movement!

I'm still on my 1st character and am currently level 17, which is considered about average for the amount of game time i've had, i've gone Ice Powers, picked a rifle as weapon, super-speed as my movement and the Joker as my mentor, and i'll tell you what, when i go offline i dont know what i will do!


This game has so much packed into that you don't know what to do next, you get missions from your mentors and other villains/heroes, you have to defeat the likes of (this is from my villains point of view) Bane, Brianiacs Robot Army, Supergirl, Robin.....etc

Anyone ever mentioned in the comics is in this game, and the story is actually fairly decent!
Even if you just take out bounties on a random heroes name, go and find the guy, kick his arse and get a load of XP for it!

Have to say ist great fun, only downfall so far is the fact that theres an issue with mics, but apparently is due to be fixed very shortly!
The £10 a month subscription fee seems steep but the Free DLC's due to come and the strength of the servers is worth it! No lag what so ever!

So far i'd rate 9/10 but who knows whats to come!

Im really tempted to buy this game but ive never been a big fan of subscription fees.

The only thing im not sure about was whether the gameplay would get repetitive after a while, also can you join like factions or groups or anything with your friends online and like battle others online?

I am so tempted!

But not sure if I can afford it.. Saving everything I can at the moment.

Yeah you can create your own League with your friends, add people in-game so there easy to find and also you can just group up, which is like a league except its just for that one online session, so like if some randomer is helping you out with a mission!

theres also a nicely conveniant text chat system in-game which makes up for the mic issues!

Would like to play this but won't get it cos I don't think it's worth paying 10 quid a month when I'll still be playing other stuff like cod

Sounds good jake, thanks for the write up mate, good to see someone who has a similar gaming interests as mines point of view
