Trailer for the upcoming DC Univer Online, game looks amazing as well as the the CGI in this trailer, if your a bit of a geek when it comes to comics (like me) then you'll just love the trailer even if the game doesnt appeal!

watched the trailer but still no idea what the game is. thought these DC games were arcade fighters like tekken and stuff? also whats with the emphasis on online is it an online multiplayer only or what?

its emphasises on the online as its a pure online game, no offline modes at all. Arkham Asylum was a DC game and that was pure genius, not all DC games are arcade fighters

Its been in development since 2008 and pushed back to early 2011 due to bugs and them wanting to perfect gameplay and servers, today it was finally confirmed for 14th January 2011,
only off puttin side is its a subsriction game, there basically charging for online gameplay. I still think i'm going to get it as it looks like an epic game and there's so much you can do in the way of creating your character! Who there mentor is, what they look like, powers, weapons, hero/villain.....etc
it comes with a 30 day free trial and if you don't like it you can trade it back in, but after that its £15 a month, £36.99 for 3 months, £64.99 for 6 months and £199 for a lifetime fee,
i'll be doing the free trial and may do the 3 months sub if its as amazing as it looks!
Hopefully they'll be people joining me! lol

Looked ok up until I read about the subscription fee, do you have to pay for the game as well?
Dont think i would ever pay a subscription fee to play a game

that all seems sweet but the fee - not only the fact there is a fee at all, but that its fucking well pricey. There just being greedy and taking advantage of a possible very good game, and comic loyalists.
All those getting the trial should start it on the same date so we can team up and time our characters developement and what not
I will probably get the free trial but it better not be good!
