AC!D Music Makers

Ive been thinking that there are a few members on here who make music and i was thinking we should try and do some collaborations together if anyone is interested please post here at any skill level.

At some point this week after months of telling Pepe etc. that i would i will finally be uploading a song on to YouTube or SoundCloud i will let you guys know when its up its nothing special just a remix project for college.

yer depends if your Mac or PC if your mac try get hold of logic. PC then like Paradox said simplest thing would be something like Fruit Loops pretty easy to use and widely available free. Reason is slightly more complex in my opinion and you cant add plugins so your stuck with whatever is in Reason. Other good ones if you can find them are Ableton and Cubase both of which i prefer over reason but thats just me. But hey if you can get them all try them for yourself. Also i would highly recommend you pick up a cheap Keyboard like this http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=lpk+25&_sacat=See-All-Categories ive got one for traveling purposes they are not amazing but for their size and price they are pretty good. Plus trying to draw every note in with a mouse can be really annoying and time consuming especially if you cant just think of a note and know exactly where it corresponds to on a piano

get it up craft. im up for some collaberation by a few of us...we could each do something and one person could edit it all together or some shit like that. i dabble with studio one most nights and usually run it with ableton through rewire

got reason and FL studio 9.9 on the go as well

Yh I especially like the section from 2.23 - 3.14 less focus on the organy style chords from the first 2 mins

I make beats guys and i upload one when im back home I use Cubase 5 its a good mixing and beat making software but its quite large size to download it I will upload my beat on the soundcloud thing

Yes i own an iMac 27" and MacBook Pro 15" im running Logic Pro Studio 9(legit) and Reason(hacked) aswell as Native Instruments Komplete 7 and Maschine and Rob Papen Predator, Albino and Sub Boom Bass(all legit).
I should point out that having spent all this money i am no better at producing than before i bought it however i do have a lot of virtual instruments and stickers .
I actually started on PC using FL9 then moved to Sony Acid Pro. I prefered Acid because i mainly used audio samples and the audio arranging in there was alot easier for me

we should have a dedicated studio forum to inspire some acid jazz? we could put all this production in there, perhaps it could replace some of the defunct forum sections. things like remix comps, collabs, new tracks etc could be posted there. i think it could inspire a bit more of the AC!D creativeness

Haha - all of a sudden, I think of something they have done, like changing their backpack to get out their flying dildos, or not defending a flag and... bam, I have instant anger towards them.

yer i used to have tons of those little plastic disc things then i learnt how well they could fly and now they are probably scattered all over my neighbours gardens
